Born to Irish parents and raised in Manchester’s Whalley Range suburb, Noonan was one of 14 siblings, all with names beginning with the letter “D” but it wasn’t family ties that defined him, it was his criminal legacy alongside his brothers Damien and Dessie Noonan who specialised in armed robbery, he left a trail of fear and chaos in his wake!
Noonan’s criminal empire extended beyond mere theft, he and his brother Desmond “Dessie” Noonan headed a notorious criminal organisation in Manchester during the 1980s and 1990s. Their reign of terror included armed robbery, police assault, possession of firearms, prison escapes, and fraud. Dominic Noonan’s rap sheet boasts over 40 convictions making him a seasoned inmate with more than 22 years spent behind bars across Britain.
But there’s more to Noonan’s story. His adopted name Domenyk Lattlay-Fottfoy, is an acronym that speaks volumes “Look After Those That Look After You – F*** Off Those That F*** Off You” and when the cameras roll we’ll explore the murky depths of his criminal mind, the alliances he forged, and the secrets he harboured behind the walls.
