The original version of Cranium Cadoo is back with lots of fun puzzling, sketching, sculpting, acting, and code-cracking activities. The object is for the first player or team to get four of their tokens in a row on the game board. The four-in-a-row can be horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
Take turns rolling the die to see whether you’ll have to play a Solo card or a Combo card. If you get a Solo card, only you complete the action on the card. If you do it correctly before time runs out, you get to put one of your tokens on any open spot on the board. Challenges include running around the house to find something made of cotton, calling out a word that has two meanings, and finding the differences among three pictures.
If you get a Combo card, the other players guess what you’re doing. The challenges could involve acting, drawing, or sculpting. If a player correctly guesses what you’re doing before time runs out, then you get to place one of your tokens on any open spot and the guessing player gets to place one of his tokens on top of yours.
Just keep in mind that you can only win a four-in-a-row on a Solo card, so there’s a little bit of strategy added to the play.
