NASA's Coral Reef Airborne Laboratory is in Hawaii undergoing an operational readiness test before deployment to the South Pacific. Principal investigator Eric Hochberg of the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences and project scientist Michelle Gierach of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory introduce the mission, which will be collecting data on coral reefs for the next year.
