The Netherlands Pavilion for Expo 2025 in Osaka in Japan invites visitors to play an active role in collectively shaping a sustainable future. With a personalized Energy Orb, they will explore interactive installations, gaining insights into Dutch solutions and innovations that are contributing to a sustainable future.
Aligned with the theme of World Expo 2025, the Netherlands Pavilion highlights the country's unique approach to collaboration and innovation in addressing global challenges. At the heart of this approach is the "common ground" mindset, centered around joint problem-solving. Historically vital in the Netherlands' struggle against the sea, this approach is now being applied to urgent issues such as climate change, food security, and rapid digitalization. The Pavilion underscores the Netherlands' dedication to this mindset, showcasing how the country is advancing the energy transition through cutting-edge renewable energy technologies while also driving innovation across various other sectors.
The Netherlands Pavilion is designed by a consortium composed of the architectural bureau RAU, the experience design studio Tellart, the engineering consultancy firm DGMR and the Osaka-based construction company Asanuma.
