How can you know for sure that a reverb pedal allows 100% wet signal to make ambient guitar drones?
If you want to play ambient guitar, it's important to know if you can use your reverb pedal with a full wet signal before you buy it!
In this video, I explore a few popular reverb pedals to find out if they allow 100% wet signals and I show you a few things to look for when making your research. That includes:
- What to read in the instruction manual of the reverb pedal
- Kill dry switches or other hidden functions
- Other possible ways to obtain 100% wet sounds with a pedal that you thought didn't allow it (toneprint editor, different signal paths, etc).
Enjoy!
