Georgiana Radulescu from Raven's Heart band made a detailed description of the Stroh Violin made by the Hora factory Romania.
The Stroh violin was patented in London in 1899 by John Matthias Augustus Stroh.
To honor the tradition, the HORA factory, founded in 1951, revived the successful construction of this musical instrument. Distinct from the classic Stroh violins, the tuning of the violin produced by Hora is done with a fine worm and wheel gear mechanism, which provides the performer a very high precision for tuning.
