There's a beautiful Neapolitan tradition called "caffè sospeso" ☕ In Naples, people can decide to pay a coffee forward (leave a "pending coffee") as an anonymous act of charity. Less fortunate people can walk into a cafe and ask “c’è un caffè sospeso per me?” (is there a suspended / pending coffee for me?), and if so, they receive a free espresso.
