Organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Translation, the Chartered Institute of Linguists and the Institute of Translation and Interpreting

• What part can academic institutions, professional bodies and international organisations play in preparing new and current practitioners for the challenges facing the profession?

This event brings together representatives from the EU, CIOL, ITI and the worlds of academia, business and technology to discuss how best to support the next generation of translators and make recommendations to key stakeholders.
