Despite the fact that the Shishito pepper got off to a slow start this spring, it ended up doing very well. We've had a couple of decent harvests from it, and I've also saved some seeds for next year. In this video, I'll show it out in the garden growing, then I harvest it and take inside to cook. We both did a taste test of it, and we liked them very much. The recipe is about as easy as it gets. I heated up some Olive Oil, then I put the peppers in the pan and cooked them. After I took them off the stove, I lightly salted them, and they were delicious. I liked the Shishito pepper well enough that I plan to grow it again next year.
