This song explores The Other Side of MIGRATION — What happens to the families, specifically the Wife when a migrant husband leaves her country side and moves away to the cities with high hopes. The backdrop of the song is Purvanchal belt in India where many leaves their native villages for better lives. The young wife feels insecure and Many times the wives are sexually assaulted by none other, but by inside male elements in the family itself. This Bhojpuri Chhaprahiya Purvi Folk style has became a milestone hit of Kalpana Patowary's career as she became the First Woman to Record this particular Chhaprahiya Purvi Folk genre in 2004. AboutTapovan in Gaya Bihar
Tapovan, Block Mohd, around 50km east of Gaya town in Bihar has four hot water kunds named Sanak, Sanandan, Sanatan and Sant Kumar. A lot of people come here on Makar Sankranti and other festivals for a dip in the kunds. It is believed that one dip in the kunds cures all skin diseases. A daylong cultural festival, is held every year to promote this place.
