Tarpon On The Fly Rod !! Night Fishing in Belize - on Caye Caulker - TheBite.
Belize has so many amazing travel and fishing opportunities... It's world class fly fishing for Tarpon though is one of the reason fisherman travel from all around to experience it. Snapper, Jack , and Tarpon, where mostly what we were targeting this evening, but anything was possible, The Split area on Caye Caulker comes alive with some giant fish at night. An awesome day spot for cocktails, sunbathing, snorkeling, and just island lounging in general, but at night the fishing is at its hottest. Being able to end a day with a little night fishing was a cool bonus on our trip and we got into a few of them on this on.
