One of the tactics for defeating totalitarian regimes that Naomi Wolf mentions in her talks, is the use of music by the people. This is a Latvian song, "The Sea Froze," that was banned by the Soviets during their control over Latvia. But the people sang anyway, and it was good. Listening to this version, sung by Ance Krauze at the grand opening of a new complex "ARENA RIGA, in 2007, you can understand why the song is important to Latvians.
