Grind-style Calisthenics uses a very different approach to progressive bodyweight training. You won't usually find a lot of single arm push-ups and pull-ups, like archer or single arm training in a GSC workout.
The reason is simply that advanced techniques require more technical proficiency which can often hold many people back. Instead, GSC uses other means of progression, like the range of motion and instability to make the muscles work much harder.
