The wacky rig is an excellent tool for all levels of anglers. The simplicity of this rig makes it especially good for beginners. The wacky rig catches fish when other lures won't. I turned a quick evening fishing trip into a success with the wacky rig. I used the Reaction Innovations 4.5" pocket rocket and a 1/0 neko hook. I only needed this one combo to have fun.
