Following vital conservation works and major improvements for visitors, English Heritage is set to reopen Clifford’s Tower in York on 2 April 2022.
The improvements follow a £5m investment in the tower. Visitors will be able to enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the York skyline from a new free standing roof deck, constructed in a way which also helps to protect the towers historic stonework.
