When in Manila and you want to view some of the living history, the walled city of Intramuros would be one of your first stops. Within the walled city lies San Agustin, a church built by the Spaniard in 1587 and is considered the oldest established church in the Philippines.
This place holds a very special place in my heart and It's where I have some of my earliest memories in life.
More of that in a later video but for now, enjoy a walking tour through its stone and coral hallways, the Catholic Archdiocese has amassed an impressive collection of historical and religious significance and is the burial location for many notable Filipinos.
If you're a Santo fan, you will be impressed with their collection. You will walk corridors many Popes have visited and you can feel reverence in the air.
