MoS for Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrasekhar on August 09 talked about the allegation on Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter Veena Vijayan and her firm of receiving monthly payments worth crores. He taunted by claiming that a new tax system has been introduced in the state called Veena Service Tax.
“There has been a revelation on the Kerala CM’s daughter’s firm. Many companies have been transferring money into her account as if a new tax system, Veena Service Tax has been introduced. The companies have been transferring the amount like guaranteed money. When Income tax asked the companies about the transfer they said it was just like that. So many incidents of corruption and dynastic corruption have been coming. This reminds us of the UPA government from 2004-2009. All the huge scams, like the 2G scam and Colgate scams were done during the same time period. This ‘I.N.D.I.A’ or ‘Ghamandia’ should explain why the companies have been transferring such a huge amount of money into her account. A new tax system has been introduced in Kerala, Veena Service Tax,” said Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
