A sixth-generation cowboy who was literally born in a barn, Diamond Jim was destined to be a cowboy right from the start. He hails from the Texas Panhandle, which he says is “where real cowboys come from.” In his younger days, Diamond Jim was a rodeo competitor and even an Iron Man Cowboy champion. Today, he works as a cowboss for an outfit that runs over 75,000 head of cattle annually, and he also runs a horseshoeing business on the side.
