The December 2024 California Green Ribbon Network Meeting focused on the intersection between policy and Green Ribbon with case studies from Pittsburg (presented by Matthew Belasco) and Laguna Beach Unified School Districts (presented by Gloria Harwood) and reflections on goals and commitments for driving sustainability efforts forward. The purpose of the California Green Ribbon Network is to give participants the chance to connect, inspire, and share best practices for achieving success with the California Green Ribbon Program. This network both supports schools/districts/COEs to succeed on the application itself, AND because the application is really about capturing and reflecting progress during a certain point in time the topics covered in this network will be broad and geared towards supporting school communities to take action on the Green Ribbon Pillars.
