Precession
After releasing the right cord the torque due to gravitational force with reference to the support point is anti-clockwise as seen above so it rotates anti-clockwise
And here the change in angular momentum of the wheel also in anti-clockwise direction ( it must be in the direction of applied torque)
If we rotate the wheel oppositely & if we release the same cord it will rotate clockwise
It is called precession
