Victoria has recorded a week of over 100 cases each day, having previously not reported triple figures since late March.
The past three days have all seen over 200 cases.
It’s now been almost a month since Victoria recorded a case number in single digits, a trend which shows no sign of ending.
There are currently 1,528 active COVID-19 cases across Australia.
1,486 of those cases are in Victoria, 21 in Western Australia, 10 in New South Wales, five in the Australian Capital Territory, five in Queensland, two in the Northern territory and zero cases in South Australia and Tasmania.
