This is my video for deep-fried chicken wings with sweet and sour pineapple sauce. In this video, I have extra spicy and not so spicy versions of the sauce.
INGREDIENTS
20 Chicken Wings, cut in half
2 big blocks of Palm Sugar
1/2 cup Sugar
1 tbsp Salt
1 tsp MSG (optional)
3 tbsp Vinegar
1 can Pineapple Chunks
1 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
3 tbsp Sriracha Sauce (optional)
1 tbsp Chili Garlic Sauce (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Deep-fry the chicken wings to the crispiness you like (about 10-15 minutes)
SAUCE:
1. Add the palm sugar and regular sugar into a pan.
2. Add 1/2 cup of pineapple juice from the can.
3. Heat on high until the sugar melts and the pineapple juice boils. Takes about 5 minutes.
4. Lower the heat and add the rest of the ingredients.
5. Mix the wings into the sauce.
