Fetal spina bifida is diagnosed when a defect in the spinal column is identified on an ultrasound. Careful evaluation of the defect can identify the location and extent of the lesion as well as identify additional anomalies.
Learn more about the inclusion criteria for spina bifida treatment options from center director Dr. Ahmet Baschat and our fetal therapy specialists Dr. Jena Miller.
