If you don't own a motorcycle with a boxer engine from BMW, you're missing out. It's a wonderful engine design for performance. Some don't like the cylinder heads that stick out, but that keeps both cylinders evenly cooled out in the wind. However, the clunky nature of the quick shifter leaves some people scratching their heads while others embrace the characteristic of the boxer's gear box.
