About 200 supporters, shouting anti-Mobutu slogans, gathered outside new Zairean Prime Minister Etienne Tshisekedi's house on Wednesday (2/4).
Tshisekedi, a former premier who was ousted by President Mobutu Sese Seko, on Wednesday accepted a proposal from opposition parties that he become prime minister.
Meanwhile, about 100 students gathered outside the university to
protest against high university fees.
