A kayak motor mount can be expensive but in option 3, I show an inexpensive DIY side mount trolling motor - much cheaper than getting a railblaza kayak motor mount. I make a side mount trolling motor kayak mount bracket out of angle iron and Tee bolts while adding a utility track to the top.
