Please join me on my final medallion qualifying flight of 2018. This video is the LAX to SYD leg of JFK to SYD onboard a 777-200, departing on Christmas Day 2018. This is Delta's older intercontinental hard product, soon to be replaced fleet wide with their new suites. This trip was entirely contingent on my global upgrade clearing and, lo and behold, here we are! I paid about $2200 round trip for a $14,000 seat and secured enough MQMs to guarantee top status for 2019. TLDR: I went to Australia for four days so I could get more free first class in 2019!
