🇮🇳 Countries with lots of people and lots of tourists tend to be full of touts and people who non-stop bother you to try to take their services. The same was true when I lived in China, and it is most certainly true here in India. I don't usually mind people who ask me if I want to take their rickshaw or take their service. They have to make a living too so it's perfectly within their right to ask. But it does get annoying when they then try to guilt-trip you and make you accept. Nonetheless, enjoy.
