Whitewater Brewing Company was founded in 1996 as a small farm brewery near the Mourne Mountain range. The company has expanded their operations in recent years and has opened a larger scale site in Castlewellan. The new brewery includes a taproom for visitors.
The business focuses on creating a quality product that is matured longer and has a fuller flavour than mass-produced beer. Whitewater’s range of craft beer is exported as far as Russia and Japan.
