Candlemass the Living Rite is an optional boss in Path of Exile 2, located in the chapel of Ogham Manor. True to his name, this fiery foe is adorned with burning candles and relies heavily on fire-based attacks.
Candlemass wields two powerful moves:
- A sword slash that unleashes a wide arc of fire, hurtling toward the player.
- A stunning barrage of mini fire missiles from his candles, creating a carpet of fiery explosions. This visually impressive attack is deadly if you're caught in the middle, so stay mobile and dodge strategically.
Defeating Candlemass rewards you with Candlemass' Essence, a quest item that permanently increases your maximum life by +20—a reward too valuable to pass up!
