We collect 397012 from Longsight and run it to the airport where the video starts proper.

Sorry for the double reference to helicopters, that’s what happens when you keep coming back to edit in parts. It was a quip about the speed between two points on the route.

There was indeed a station at Farington until 1960.

Burton on Holme Station should read Burton and Holme Station.

We know about the “flied” instead of Fylde but Steve had only just signed the route and must have misheard his instructor.
