OK team, here is my quick and dirty video on how you can best mix protein with hot coffee to keep it from clumping. I show three different methods that will give you three different results. The three methods are as follows:
1. Hot coffee w/ protein powder, mixed w/ a spoon.
2. Protein powder mixed w/ cold milk, then hot coffee added, stirred with spoon.
3. Hot coffee w/ protein powder, mixed w/ an immersion blender.
Which method is the best? Well I'm not going to tell you, because I want you to watch the video.
