Lucknow Public College A-block Rajajipuram organised an Alumni Meet on 24th December, in its grand campus. It turned out to be a well- attended affair where students of previous batches came to catch up with each other.
The event began with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Mrs Bharti Gosain, along with some of the alumni and reverent teachers.
This was followed by a welcome speech by the Principal. Songs and scintillating dance performances were staged by the students for their adorable seniors. Next in the line were some alumni who shared their experiences as a student in the school. They thanked their teachers for being their mentors and guides.
They went down the memory lane and toured the whole school. Their excitement was at its zenith when they went to their old classrooms through the same corridors where they used to run during the recess or as soon as the home time bell rang. They also enjoyed playing 'passing the parcel' and ' musical chair'. They sang songs and recited poems for their school and teachers. They remarked that though the school premises has changed a lot but the love, care and warmth is still the same. They clicked pictures with their teachers and batchmates. They were also given away mementos.
Mrs. Gosain thanked everyone for making the day a great success.
