The European Union Special Representative for Human Rights Eamon Gilmore has called on Ugandan authorities to bring an end to acts of torture, extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrest, and detention of Ugandans.
Gilmore has met president Yoweri Museveni to discuss a range of human rights concerns including torture and extrajudicial killings in the country. He addressed journalists in Kampala.
