Osu Osogbo festival is an annual festival celebrated in August at the Osun sacred grove in the worship of the goddess of fertility. It is one of the biggest festivals in West Africa. The 2022 edition of the festival took place from 1st to 12th August and I was there live to witness the grand finale which was on Friday, August 12. The spirit of the river goddess took over some of the devotees and they displayed their spirituality in diverse ways. Here are sights and sounds of the festival.
