The V2-Commercial carries all of the standard V2’s negatives—low machining tolerances affecting ease of assembly, a hypersensitive anti-collision system, and several cost-cutting shortcuts showing up in the final product—without adding much in the way of positives. UpLift clearly designed the V2-Commercial to meet the ANSI/BIFMA G1-2013 Ergonomic Guidelines standard and by doing so made a desk that will limit taller, and especially office treadmill users. There are only a few specific scenarios where it makes sense to pick the V2-Commercial over the standard V2: You’re a very short user, you require a great deal of lateral (side-to-side) stability with the desk lowered but are uncommonly indifferent to the more important longitudinal stability, or your organization needs to check the box for ANSI/BIFMA G1-2013 compliance for some reason.
