If you have many formulas in your workbooks you can control the time it takes to recalculate the formulas by setting the number of processors to use for recalculation. You can enable or disable the multi-threaded calculation by changing Excel options. By default this option is enabled to use all processors on your computer. If you want you can select the number processors to use for calculation of formulas.
