The Eastern Rosella (Platycercus eximius) was up high in the hedge, this morning. It's mate was in a nearby pecan tree. I do like parrots coming in all comic book colours. There are quite a few types of parrots out this way, but I'm yet to capture the rarer types on video. I just wish they weren't so wild and shy--well, at least not when I am trying to photograph them.
