Veteran actor Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018. She had a fainting spell in her hotel bathroom in Dubai and the cause of death was revealed to be accidental drowning. Sridevi's mortal remains finally arrived in Mumbai on February 27, 2018, after the complete procedure was over in Dubai. Boney Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor were received by Anil Kapoor and the ambulance headed to Sridevi's residence where thousands of fans gathered to get a final glimpse of the first lady superstar of Bollywood.
Many Bollywood celebrities including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Madhuri Dixit, Shahid Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Sara Ali Khan, Rekha, Karisma Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Ajay Devgn, Kajol and others paid their last respects to Sridevi.
