Abandoned Cat Family Found Floating in Cold Water of River : Our Emotional Rescue Story

While visiting the other side of the Ravi River, we spotted a box floating in the water with something swimming near it. After a challenging effort to reach it, we discovered a mother cat struggling in the river and her kittens abandoned in the box. We rescued them, drying and comforting the mother cat despite her trauma. Eagles circled ominously, adding to the tension. A passerby confirmed people often discard animals in the river, which saddened us deeply.

We brought the cat family home, provided warmth, food, and shelter, and ensured the mother cat felt safe in a cozy hut. Though still shaken, her playful moment with a hairdryer gave us hope.
