There is continued momentum across Europe regarding carbon capture and storage (CCS) as a key climate technology, with Denmark currently leading the way. While offshore CO2 storage has been instrumental in supporting CCS project development in Europe, onshore storage options will be critical to driving CCS and climate ambitions.
Hosted by the Global CCS Institute, this webinar will examined the supportive regulatory frameworks and policies enabling onshore storage development in Denmark, and assessed the particulars of the projects and exploration efforts underway in the country. This event will also further unpack the potential future state of onshore CO2 storage in Europe more broadly.
