The International School of Choueifal Dubai put together a very special event to honour the 43rd National Day of the UAE. A crowd of over two thousand students, parents, and staff members gathered to celebrate the spirit of the UAE on the school's beautifully decorated green field.
The school orchestra opened the ceremony and serenaded the audience with the UAE National Anthem, following which the Oath of the U.A.E was read aloud to shed light on the solid bond that lies within the nation and that continues to bring success and prosperity to its patriots. As the event celebrated the seven emirates’ 43 years of unity, a group of Emirati boys and girls released UAE coloured balloons into the sky. Next up were the traditional Emirati dances, followed by the Dubai Police Dog show. One of the most exhilarating scenes of the ceremony was the flag formation by the students of the Student Life organization, which clearly depicted how the United Arab Emirates came into existence.
The different colours of the UAE flag came from all directions and merged together to form the national flag, creating a sense of appreciation towards the gifted, visionary leaders of the UAE for all they have done for their country. Moreover, numerous attractions were available to entertain all the guests at ISC- Dubai, such as an authentic Hathira, henna and face painting, lougaimat stations, football penalty shootouts, human foosball, obstacle course races, camel rides, and last but not least, a bouncing castle! Drummers created a very lively atmosphere and a couple of falcons, an emblem of the UAE, were also on site.
It was truly a memorable event for all those who attended. The air was overflowing with happiness and heartwarming smiles were all over the place. Everyone was thrilled to have spent U.A.E’s 43rd National Day at the International School of Choueifat Dubai.
