Final Fantasy II is a Japanese role-playing video game originally released in 1988 for the Famicom console in Japan. It was later remade for other platforms, including the PlayStation, Game Boy Advance, and mobile devices. The game features a traditional RPG gameplay with a story-driven narrative that follows four young heroes as they embark on a quest to save the world from an evil empire. Unlike its predecessor, Final Fantasy II introduced a unique leveling system where players improve their characters' abilities by using them in battle.
