Is it just me, or have you wondered: Why am I craving sweets, or salt? Why am I craving carbs? Are period or pregnancy cravings real? Is stress eating and emotional eating real? The truth is, there isn’t a TON of research looking at cravings, but we’ll dive into some of it here.
In reality, not all food cravings have a “meaning!” And sometimes, the stories we tell ourselves about our cravings can actually exacerbate our stress eating, emotional eating, or binge eating behaviors.
