Got to share this dish with my friends from Voctave as dinner while we were in the studio recording a new album. I like to think the tasty food inspired them a little!!! :) Magnificent music, great food and great people!!! Can't beat it!!!
INGREDIENTS:
Dry Rub (makes 6 cups; divide for smaller portion)
1/2 cup salt
1/3 cup black pepper
1/3 cup garlic powder
1/2 cup cumin
4.5oz container of chili powder
1.5oz container crushed red pepper flakes
2oz container paprika
1.5oz container ground coriander
1.75oz container ground mustard
1tsp ground cayenne
1tsp ground ginger
1tsp ground cinnamon
1Tbsp Jamaican all spice
1.5 Tbsp oregano
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
Pulled Pork:
Pork butt (needs to fit your crockpot/slow cooker)
Dry Rub (see above)
Spicy Brown Mustard
1 medium sweet onion (sliced)
4-5 cloves of garlic (peeled, whole)
2 bottles of your favorite beer (I use Angry Orchard Apple Cider and Guinness Stout in this recipe)
