Dinesh Modi, a versatile personality like author, writer, an eminent advocate- Bombay High Court, a member of the Bombay Stock Exchange, a philosopher, and a huge donor, organised a budget seminar when he became the president of the Bombay Shareholders Association. The seminar was conducted in 1993 March, five days after the second Union Budget of Dr. Manmohan Singh, was presented on February 27, 1993.
Besides Harshad Mehta, Ashwin Mehta, And Ajit Ambai, there were B. Rai, Ram Pipariya, Kamlesh Gandhi, Chandrashekhar Iyer and Talakshi Gosar, who addressed the mammoth gathering.
The seminar was held at Bombay's esteemed Birla Matushree Sabhagraha.
