February 2023 marks one year since the beginning of the humanitarian crisis brought on by war in Ukraine.
Since February 2022, CORE has supported over 200,000 Ukrainians in Poland, Romania, and Ukraine. To date, we’ve distributed over $800,000 in cash-assistance, provided critical food assistance to 46,000 people, and supported more than 67 shelters.
As the humanitarian needs of those affected by the conflict evolves, so does CORE’s response. We continue to adapt our programs to meet critical needs, from providing warm clothes in the winter, to setting up info points and connectivity centers and supporting schools and community services.
Through our local and international partners, host country communities, and CORE dedicated regional teams, we are establishing pathways of support that extend even beyond CORE as we continue to meet the needs of Ukrainians together.
