I used to have a home. When I think of it now I remember what our warm beds felt like,. I remember how getting a small cold wasn’t anything to be frightened about. Our home is gone. And if any of us fall sick we brace for the worst.

Food is scarcer than ever. Some days we eat what little grass grows. But everyday I look into the youth’s faces I see hope. Their eyes are of full even though their bellies are empty. We used to have a home but you can still help us today.

Yemen is seeing the worst humanitarian crisis in a decade. Almost 20 million people are in the grips of famine. Only a third of the people have access to proper medical care.

Islamic Relief staff are on the ground and in the camps delivering aid to refugees in need. In Yemen Islamic Relief is the only organization working in 19 of the 22 governorates for Yemen providing essential aid like food, water, medical aid, livelihood support.
