I had had big hopes towards Wear OS, I still have my Huawei SmartWatch2 but Google somehow managed to loose totally the competition in the watch business. Practically Wear OS is dead, unfortunately. Apple Watch is booming and excellent, but honestly for business applications no-one cares Apple. If you are in consumer, entertaining apps, yes sure Apple Watch is the way to go.
I have a Samsung Tizen phone, too, the entire Tizen development sucks even more than Wear OS.
