Sky News host Alan Jones has looked at some of the big stories and issues in Rugby League, Rugby Union, AFL and also revisited some historical moments in horse racing from Australia's past.

Mr Jones spoke with the Vice Chairman of the Shoalhaven City Turf Club, Ian Whitby, about famous moments from the Melbourne Cup in years' past, along with some of the most successful horses to take part in the historic race.

Mr Jones also discussed horse racing with the host of Saturday Sky Racing Simon Harrison.
